  2. Broken capillaries/spider veins/dilated veins on the face or legs or Stubborn Facial Telangiectasia
  3. Brown flat spot or Lentigo/ pl. Lentigines
  4. Brown flat spot or Solar Lentigo/ pl. Lentigines
  5. Skin resurfacing/wrinkle removal on hands/face and neck areas

  1. Abnormally dilated blood vessels associated with a number of diseases. Could occur anywhere on the body.
  2. Abnormally dilated blood vessels associated with a number of diseases. Could occur anywhere on the face or legs.
  3. Flat brown spot that appears because of the accumulation of lipofuscin (naturally occurring dark brown pigment soluble in fat) in the tissue unrelated to sun exposure, often malignant (cancerous).
  4. A skin disorder characterized by flat patches of increased pigmentation, associated with aging and/or sun exposure. Although most frequently called 'Liver Spots', they are unrelated to the liver or liver function. They may also be called 'Age Spots'.
  5. Visible creases in the skin associated with aging process.
  6. Age related superficial skin inconsistencies.
What to Expect:
(Immediately after
Treatment)
  1. As the laser energy is applied, the vessel will disappear. Several seconds later it will be replaced with erythema (redness) which will fade within a few days (face) or weeks (legs)
  2. Full disappearance of the vessels with the onset of surrounding erythema (reddening), which fades within a few days.
  3. Full vaporization with light graying of tissue at treatment time. The area turns darker within a few hours and flakes off in about one week. If the pigment is diffuse or light brown, the end point is not as obvious, however, the lesion should turn darker and flake off as normal.
  4. Same as above (#3).
  5. Epidermis is completely vaporized during the first pass. Several passes may be applied based on the desired result. Immediate persistent redness and swelling should be observed.
  6. Light graying effect as a result of laser application. After wiping the area, skin should exhibit light redness consistent with newly tanned skin.
Expected Final
Outcome:
  1. Full resolution. May need several treatments to completely eliminate vessels.
  2. Usually takes only one treatment. Improvement is immediate with continuous enhancement for two weeks. New vessels may occur, depending on sun exposure and heredity.
  3. Full resolution. Dark brown lentigines may require two or more treatments.
  4. Same as above (#3).
  5. Severe redness for first week, subsiding gradually by week four. At that point, the epidermis has grown back although the healing process continues for another several months with visible improvement.
  6. One to two days of light redness resulting in visible improvement.

Treatment)
Fine veins may blanch, larger veins are thicker and may blanch or turn grayish and flatten. You should not see a refill/rebound after the vessel is depressed. The onset of surrounding erythema (reddening) and edema occurs in a few minutes. Erythema can last a few days, some smaller superficial vessels could form a cat scratch scab over vein patch, and larger veins will take a few weeks to fade.
Expected Final
Outcome:
Usually takes one to three treatments. Vessels may take up to eight weeks to fade.
